Leap Prime | Unit 5: Leadership Communication

This unit empowers students with the communication tools needed to lead with clarity, empathy, and influence. As future team leads, managers, and changemakers, they’ll learn how to inspire action, resolve conflicts, and communicate vision—whether to a team of five or an entire organization. Students will explore how great leaders listen, motivate, and give feedback. They’ll learn the art of storytelling to drive change, how to lead virtual teams, and how to handle high-pressure conversations with composure and integrity. Special focus is given to managing upward communication, navigating diversity, and reinforcing values through every message. Through role-plays, leadership labs, and case-based learning, students will develop their voice as leaders—learning to guide teams, manage crises, and foster collaboration across departments and cultures. By the end of this unit, students will: 1. Communicate vision, strategy, and values with clarity and conviction 2. Motivate and guide individuals through feedback, mentoring, and coaching 3.
