LEAP Prime | Unit 9: Advanced Corporate Communication & Workplace Ethics

  • 26 Steps

About

This unit explores the ethical backbone of corporate communication—where clarity, respect, and responsibility intersect. Going beyond surface-level compliance, students will delve into the nuances of workplace ethics, from the foundational elements of the POSH Act to the evolving challenges of DEI, ESG, and mental health communication. Through real-life case studies, guided discussions, and scenario role-plays, learners will understand how to communicate clearly in high-stakes, sensitive contexts—whether it's handling whistleblower reports, facilitating difficult conversations, or leading an anti-harassment awareness campaign. They will also explore how power dynamics shape corporate discourse, how inclusive language and psychological safety can transform cultures, and how ethical communication can strengthen both governance and brand reputation in a hyper-connected world. By the end of this unit, students will: 1. Understand POSH law and related ethical frameworks for workplace safety 2. Communicate respectfully and assertively during sensitive or high-risk situations 3. Promote inclusivity through conscious language and anti-bias strategies 4. Craft and deliver ethical narratives around CSR, ESG, and employee well-being 5. Support whistleblowing, mental health access, and difficult disclosures through empathetic channels 6. Develop a personal and organizational communication code rooted in ethics and accountability
