  • 12 Steps

About

This course offers a broad yet foundational introduction to the field of Christian Education, exploring its theological roots and educational principles. Divided into four structured units, the course first unpacks the biblical and historical basis of Christian Education, tracing its development through Scripture and church history. We then examine the process of Christian teaching, giving special focus to Christ as the Master Teacher and the role of the Holy Spirit in the educational journey. Moving beyond theory, we explore the diverse audiences of Christian education—children, youth, and adults—studying how faith formation varies across life stages. Finally, the course introduces key methods and practices that enable Christian educators to plan, teach, and disciple effectively in their own ministry contexts. With a blend of theological reflection and practical application, this course aims to nurture a deeper understanding of how Christian faith is cultivated in individuals and communities, equipping students to build vibrant, contextually relevant educational ministries.
